Food for Lane County

I just want you to know that it is a JOY working with you. I love sending you materials and seeing what wonderfully creative thing you come up with. Writing letters was always the hardest part of my job and I LOVE that we’re working together on these now.

Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank

Toledo NW Ohio Food Bank has partnered with Haines since September 2011. In that time, we’ve increased the food bank’s gross revenue by over $100K the first year working together.

Part of our strategy involved purchasing different lists and targeting new donors. Through analysis and focusing on localized packages, our goal is to work with Toledo NW Ohio Food Bank to continue to move their program in a positive direction.

They are always available. Both Ashley and Gina are more than willing to help out with other things. They always have a good plan in mind and are great at putting together spreadsheets for analysis.

Humane Society of Washington County

Humane Society of Washington County has been partnering with Haines since fall of 2014. No matter what the size of your direct mail marketing budget, Haines Direct will be as financially efficient as possible so that we can develop a plan targeted to surpass all of your goals.

The quality of work is very impressive, especially since you do all of the mailing. I love your flexibility!

Development Director, Humane Society of Washington County

Food Gatherers

I received my fall newsletter yesterday, and I wanted to let you know that it looks phenomenal! The colors, paper, etc. all come together so nicely in the package, and I’m most proud of how it looks so very “us.” Thank you for your great work!

Franklin University

I just wanted to thank you and your team for an outstanding job on our December appeal. The pieces were designed beautifully and delivery took place just as you promised. It was a pleasure working with Haines on this project and I look forward to more opportunities in the future.

Mirador Event logo

Thank you so much for your interest in getting such a great web site and please extend my thanks to the designer who put it together. I had a board meeting this Wednesday and connected a large display to the internet to show it off. Everyone was impressed. We are a not-for-profit that uses the Community Center (as Mirador Event) for fund raising and for teaching our students to work well. So we usually must settle for second or third best. This time we got the BEST.

As the director of this NFP, I need to be a jack of all trades. My experience is graphics, not with WEB. However I do have an eye for arrangement and appreciate the arrangement of your designer. Perhaps some day I will learn his skill.

I have had Verizon-Superpages do one that was mediocre after lots of words and resistance on the part of their design firm. The one done by Yellow Book was the worst. As a result, I am more appreciative of both your thoughtful service and the skill of your designer.

Thanks again!

St. John’s Riverside Hospital

St. John’s Riverside Hospital saw some big improvements after partnering with Haines. St. John’s used our strategies and programs to productively push the hospital’s marketing focus in a positive direction. Haines’ scale back of a 40,000-piece mailing single-handedly created net income on the next drop date.

It has been a great experience. Our account executive is very attentive, gives us plans we can follow, makes all the changes that we request, and gives us deadlines that we can stick to. It has been a great experience, and we continue to use Haines.

We worked previously with only printing people. Haines was appealing because they do the analysis, buy the list, manage the reply slips, and de-dup. We feel at ease that as long as we do the letter, Haines will take care of everything else, and we don’t have to worry about it.

Development Associate, St. John’s Riverside Hospital

Hendrix College

Hendrix College and Haines worked together for seven years, forming a solid partnership. Our long-term relationship with the college allowed us to understand their direction and past campaigns on a personal level. Using this intimate knowledge, we developed new strategies that helped the college move forward.

Our experience with Haines has been really positive. We enjoy the personal attention that Jen gives us. It’s always nice to have someone to figure out if something is going out in different areas of our marketing program; I tend to feel like Jen is on our team.

Haines has enabled our growth since 2010; it’s nice to have some continuity. It’s nice that Jen remembers everything we did and will work with us to change the strategy and do something different.

Humane Society Naples

Humane Society Naples came to Haines after they found their problematic data business software system was hard to use. We were able to effectively transfer the data into another marketing program without an issue.

Our experience has been great. We did the switch (from a previous vendor) based on flexibility and making our appeals a little more original to our shelter. As far as the transition process, we are very pleased.

Andy Reed

Director Of Development, Humane Society Naples
